Bright Dundee Tours
Available most days, preferred start time 1:pm. Weather permitting, a small group, pre-booked confirmed 'Bright Dundee guided walk Tour' begins and ends in the Albert Square City Centre location. For contact and enquiries :- www.brightdundeetours.com
The Albert Square is easily accessible, where you are welcomed by your friendly and knowledgeable local guide.
Allow about a couple of hours for an easy saunter outdoors. Narrated in English only, we focus on the cultural architecture history and heritage of the buildings in the square, with the centrepiece McManus Galleries, voted by the Scottish Thistle Awards 2019-20 as the best visitor attraction in the country.
The purpose of the tour is to enlighten and entertain by creating a picture in our minds of what actually existed around the square in 1867 and the end of that century. To discover certain artefacts attached to the buildings, and to learn the meanings of statues, plaques, and interesting items along the way.
Other attractions, the V&A, RRS Discovery, The Whale Sculpture,Verdant Works, are only a few minutes walk away from the Albert Square, the Law Hill, maybe 25 mins.

Bright Dundee Tours
Your tour guide is George, an Abertay University graduate and a carpenter and joiner to trade who was inspired to create the concept of Bright Dundee Tours while working on the McManus Galleries listed building renovation in 2007. Intrigued and fascinated by the structure details, the idea developed into what is now established as a fine wee culture and history tour in the town centre, enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
