Discover Clackmannanshire

Clackmannanshire in the autumn

View of the Ochils from the Clackmannanshire bridge + Castle Campbell

Through beautiful Dollar we make our way up the glen.

There are great walks and river falls walks up with superb view at Castle Campbell

the lowland home of the Duke of Argyll, the Clan chief of the Campbell’s Scotland’s second most important Clans after their “traditional enemies” the MacDonalds.

The Hillfoots villages at the foothills of the Ochils – Yetts of Muckhart, Dollar, Tillicoultry, Alva, Menstrie, Blairlogie, Logiekirk – all offer great walks through the glens and along stunning waterfalls – plus there is Gartmorn dam & the Cambus pools nature reserve

and are literally only minutes away from Stirling & the Uni.
