Peregrinations is owned and run by Laura Bennitt, qualified Sea Kayak Coach and Guide, and Summer Mountain Leader. Laura offers sea kayak instruction and guiding for all levels across Scotland, hillwalking excursions and navigation classes.
Peregrinations is owned and run by Laura Bennitt, accredited Sea Kayak Guide and Coach and Summer Mountain Leader. Laura can provide guiding and instruction in the hills or on the sea, across Scotland and catering for all levels and experience.
Sea Kayaking instruction can be provided for beginners, novices and intermediate paddlers. Instruction is provided in small groups (max 4). Courses for complete beginners are run on a 1:2 ratio, and all necessary clothing and equipment can be supplied. This includes the transportation of kayaks.
Sea Kayak guiding is available across Scotland and tailoring to all levels. Easy day or half-day trips are readily available with a short distance from Edinburgh. Multi-day wilderness expeditions can also be arranged to a destination of your choice; equally planning and weather advice is freely given in order to maximise the opportunities available.
Navigation classes can be arranged as private bookings for clubs and individuals.
Walking trips are available for one-off days, long expeditions, and anything in between. Transport and accommodation can also be facilitated, and advice will always be given to ensure you have the best possible experience.
