Based in the Listed historic Forse House and beautiful grounds, Forse House offers the fantastic opportunity to escape to the peace and quiet of the Caithness countryside. We offer a range of comfortable, flexible accommodation ranging from single rooms, doubles, en-suites, family rooms, suites and a variety of self-catering apartments. We welcome you for a night, a few days, a week or longer. Use us as a stop on your North Coast 500 journey or as a base to explore Caithness and Sutherland. Whether you are a Classic Car tour group, a cycle team, family explorers or a wedding party we can accommodate you. We have ample parking and undercover secure bike storage. Dog walking areas are available, dog beds, towels and outside washing area for muddy four legged friends too.
With views over the gardens and woodland, our Cafe is the perfect place to relax. We are open 7 days a week and offer a range of home produced fayre, including hot and cold snacks, soups, sandwiches cakes and scones. Along with a wide range of coffees, teas, hot chocolates and cold drinks to suit all tastes. Have a dietary requirement? Don't worry; We always have a range of goodies to suit all dietary needs, including, vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free. Keeping with our ethos of Simple Sustainable Affordable, we aim to use quality local ingredients whilst keeping our prices reasonable. Here at Forse of Nature we have a variety of meeting and function spaces. These can be part or fully catered and can include accommodation to suit. Here at Forse of Nature we love a good children's party. Led by Ellie, a qualified countryside ranger, we are happy to host a variety of children's events. Whether you are into bug hunts, den building and treasure hunts or Princesses, jewellery making and crafts; we can help create the perfect party for your child. If you are a school, scout, guide or brownie group then why not make use of our facilities to engage with nature, have fun and maybe have a sausage sizzle in our woodlands.
