Award winning shepherds hut selling speciality barista coffee, teas and home baking at the base of the iconic ruins of Duffus Castle on Duffus Estate.

We believe in supporting local or Scottish where we can, and have diligently researched our products and suppliers to find the best coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fancy pieces (cakes), pastries and soft drinks, made with a passion for quality, whilst also being able to demonstrate their environmental credentials.

We stock freshly roasted coffee from Speyside Coffee in nearby Garmouth. Speyside Coffee has a huge local following and we are delighted to be helping support a fabulous local business which produces a great product. Other local businesses we are proud to stock and support are Stew n Drew’s ice cream from Hopeman and also freshly baked fancy pieces from The Bake Project in Elgin. We also took great care in deciding to stock Eteaket, from Edinburgh, for our selection of loose leaf, compostable tea bags and also Coco Chocolatier, another Edinburgh firm for their stunningly decadent 70% Columbian dark drinking chocolate.

We were awarded a Taste Our Best accreditation in August 2022 and we are proud that our commitment to to local provenance, quality and customer service has been recognised.

Situated at the base of Duffus Castle, we are perfectly positioned to give our customers a true brew with a brew.
