Forest Farm Dairy is a family run organic dairy farm in the North East of Scotland. In 2017 we launched Scotland's first milk vending machine. Every morning we pasteurise our milk in the on farm processing room before transferring it to our milk vending machines where you can pick up a litre of our delicious milk in a glass bottle between 6.30am and 8pm, 7 days week. If you arrive at 3pm you will be able to watch the cows being milked through our viewing window.
In 2020 we launched Forest Farm gelato. Every flavour of our gelato and sorbet is made on farm, using our fantastic milk to our home made inclusions. Our in-house bakers make the most delicious homemade inclusions and ingredients to fold, infuse, ripple and crumble in our gelato, from our famous honeycomb and salted caramel to gooey chocolate brownies and seasonal fresh fruit coulis.
Flavour combinations are what make us bounce out of bed in the morning - it’s no wonder the double waffle cone is our best seller! Call it artisanal, small-batch or handcrafted, we call it a treat that will sweep you of your feet.
Our on farm gelateria and coffee shop is open from 10am to 8pm 7 days a week. Enjoy your coffee and gelato in one of our nine domes or if the sun is shining, in our beautiful gelato garden.
Our Neapolitan style pizzeria is now open Wednesday to Sunday 12pm to 8pm. All the dough is handmade on the farm and fermented for 48 hours giving a light soft crunchy pizza, topped with the finest ingredient and then cooked in our 500 degree Neapolitan oven. Available Wednesday to Sunday (12 noon – 7.30pm).
Our gelateria and pizzeria open out onto our farm garden and heated domes, which transform after dark under hundreds of twinkly lights.
Before you leave be sure to pop past our farm shop to try our fresh milk vending machines, make your own milkshake or pick up some artisan produce. And… if you time it right you might even see our organic cows being milked.
