The Niche Family are a Canadian/Scottish Americana band based in Glasgow. Formed after a post ceremony jam at the wedding of lead singers Lauren Thompson and Stuart Neil. Joined by Stuart’s Brother, Andrew on lead guitar and cousin Adam Thom on banjo the band began to hone their sound. The band made their live debut as a last minute fill in for an absent Coolio at Eden festival in 2022, They then went on to release their debut single in 2023 which became BBC Scotlands single of the week. In 2024 they released their self titled EP alongside shows all over the UK and Europe.
