Set in one of the most spectacular positions in Britain, the Lodge has breathtaking views over the perfect white sands of Uig Bay to the west and the dramatic hills of Harris to the south.
Surrounded by sand, sea and mountain, this wonderful sporting lodge sits in the middle of thousands of acres of mountain and moorland for you to explore and wander over.
This is a traditional and working sporting estate and the magnificent Lodge reflects this history with an extremely comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The Lodge provides an ideal unassuming and friendly feel for holiday parties. The kitchen is well equipped and is of a good size so cooking for large numbers is a readily achievable exercise. The bedrooms are very comfortable and nearly all have views that match anywhere in the world and the only sound is the sea, the birds or the wind.
Uig is a wonderful place for a holiday house – stunning, untouched beaches, crystal clear waters, hill lochs and mountains. Try flying a kite on the beach, kayak round the bays and islands along the coast or just walk and enjoy this magical place. Lewis and Harris have a fascinating history so take time to visit the Stones of Callanish, distilleries or tweed factories or take a trip to the World Heritage site at St Kilda. Guests have exclusive salmon fishing on the Fhorsa system. The lodge has a nine hole pitch and putt golf course which provides great fun for guests of all ages.
