The Store, holiday cottage by Port Seton harbour
The Store is a seaside holiday let overlooking the Firth Forth and on The John Muir Way about halfway between Edinburgh and North Berwick. Our guests call us a home from home and a great base to explore from.
This holiday let is part of a terrace of fisherman’s cottages built in 1882 and overlooks the picturesque harbour of Port Seton and the magnificent Firth Of Forth. Bright and spacious, it has been restored and furnished to a high standard.
Rental is all inclusive with full central heating, bedding, linen and towels, free parking and cycle storage. Our free wi-fi is rated by our visitors as consistently good. We welcome our guests with complementary tea, coffee, milk and Tunnocks teacakes on arrival.
For guests walking The John Muir Way, we include a complimentary Scottish breakfast box for a first or single night.
Port Seton is a small coastal town, very traditional, and well served for self caterers with grocery shops, bakers, butcher and chemist. Step out the door and enjoy quiet walks along the shore, spot seals and cormorants in the harbour, discover our great local fish shops. Take a drive out and find secret beaches, historic castles and towns, famous golf courses and quality local produce and eateries. Or make the half hour journey to Edinburgh for the sights and the shops. The Borders, Fife and Stirling regions are all also easily discovered by day-trip.
