Stay for a couple of nights or longer but you can be sure the welcome will be just as warm, either way. Just a 2 minute drive from the picturesque fishing village of Tarbert, Barmore sits at the top end of the glen between West Loch Tarbert and Loch Fyne. This historic steading has been lovingly restored and refurbished offering a range of accommodation.

Maybe you plan to walk the Kintyre Way and want a cosy, comfortable 2-bedroom cottage to return to at the end of the day or are looking to escape for a few days peace and quiet, Shepherd's Cottage fits the bill.

Shepherd's Cottage is on the west side of a secluded, cobbled courtyard and has its own patio where you can sit and watch the sun go down. Barmore provides a perfect hub from which to travel in a different direction every day and on our door-step you will find: inspiring routes to walk or cycle; wildlife to view on land and sea; a variety of places to eat and drink; ferry links to beautiful islands; a wealth of history and archaeology and a great range of outdoor activities.
