A warm and friendly welcome awaits guests at Ullapool's finest guest house, offering bed and full Scottish breakfast. The Sheiling is a very comfortable, modern home, which stands peacefully beside the shore of Ullapool's Loch Broom.

The Sheiling comprises six letting bedrooms, double and twin-bedded, all with en-suite facilities. All rooms have a hospitality tray. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, and two of the upstairs bedrooms have loch views.

There is a comfortable residents lounge with open fire, piano, books, jigsaws and board games, which is available all day should the weather be inclement, and a spacious split-level breakfast room where only the best of Highland fare is served. Both these rooms look out over the loch.

Free WiFi is available throughout the house.

OUR FACILITIES
Within our grounds is the 'Sportsmans Lodge' comprising laundry with washing, drying and ironing facilties.

Our spacious, south-facing garden, is the perfect spot to watch for wildlife on the loch. We have seen dolphin, porpoise, sea eagles, otters and seals as well as a variety of birds.

We offer a full Highland breakfast with cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, fresh berry salad and homemade granola. You can then choose from Ullapool Smoked Salmon and softly scrambled eggs or a cooked breakfast including homemade sausages and home-cured bacon, free range eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms etc. with options for vegetarians and vegans. We also have three choices of Kedgeree; one with hot smoked salmon from the Ullapool Smokehouse, one with Halloumi (vegetarian) and one with chickpeas (vegan). There are usually Belgian-style waffles and homemade muffins too.
