The Old Post Office sits in pretty, extensive garden grounds in the hamlet of Kilfinan on the Cowal peninsula.
The cottage has a large conservatory extension at its heart with a wood-burning stove and French doors to the garden. It also has a cosy sitting room, pretty kitchen and four attractive bedrooms. Outside the large decked seating area is ideal for al fresco dining or admiring the local wildlife.
Just a couple of minutes’ walk away is the Kilfinan Hotel that has an excellent restaurant and it is only a 20 minute walk to Kilfinan Bay where otters and seals can be spotted. There is a small supermarket and bistro in Tighnabruaich (8m) and loch fishing is readily available. The stunning marina at Portavardie (8m) attracts sailing enthusiasts and visitors to its spa and leisure centre.
