"Pew with a View" is situated in the hamlet of Pitullie in the North east coast of Scotland. The cottage is a renovated fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1600's and sits 5 metres from the Sea. It has direct access to a boat ramp which leads into a small harbour allowing easy access for boats, kayaks, Jet Skis and divers. This site is frequented by diving clubs around North East Scotland and is known as one of the best diving sites in the area. The Boat House situated under the cottage is ideal for storing fishing and water sport equipment while you enjoy your holiday. The cottage has floor to ceiling storm-proof windows and is a perfect spot to birdwatch or to enjoy the many dolphins, minky whales and seals which frequently pass by. The cottage has a large decking area and garden with a small natural burn running through it. There is a range of Garden furniture and a fire pit to enjoy the outdoors day or night. Aurora Borealis are common in this area so why not pull up a few pews and chairs around the fire pit, rug up, and watch the northern skies come alive at night. For the Golfing enthusiasts it’s the perfect base. Its 30 minutes from Trump International Golf Links. It is an outstanding championship links course recently ranked by Golf World magazine as the 4th best out of the top 100 courses in Scotland. If you prefer something closer to home, why not talk a short stroll to Rosehearty Golf course which is approximately 1 mile away with a coastal path leaving from the cottage directly to the Golf Course.
If Whisky tasting is something you would enjoy, why not take a short drive to the Speyside Whisky Trail which has a dozen of Speysides' finest distilleries and a cooperage that open their doors to the public so that visitors can discover the rich heritage of Scotland’s best known product. If museums and history are one of your interests why not take a 5 minute drive to visit the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses or discover four centuries of local history at the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre, a family friendly attraction based in the bustling fishing port of Fraserburgh.
