The house has views over the harbour and village to the front and the hills to the back.The large garden captures the sun throughout the day and evening and is adjacent to hillside walks and the beginning of the Kintyre Way.
The village is only a few minutes walk away and offers a range of cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops. The village itself has a beautiful coast line with views across Loch-Fyne and small beaches and coves just five-ten minutes walk from the house. It also offers an ideal base for visiting the islands of Islay, Gigha and Arran as weel as the Mull of Kintyre and North Argyll.
Petersville is a spacious bungalow situated in a large garden with a panoramic view overlooking Tarbert village and harbour. The property has driveway parking. It is adjacent to the hillside with access to various walks. It is at the beginning of the Kintyre Way an 88 mile walk down the length of the Mull of Kintrye The house is a five minute walk to the village where there are shops,galleries, cafes and restaurants. Tarbert is close to various ferry terminals for the islands of Gigha, Islay and Arran.
It has a beautiful sitting-room with, comfortable sofas,a wood burning stove and patio doors looking over the village/harbour. Both double bedrooms are situted at the front of the house again with village/harbour views. The dining-room, to the back, looks onto the large garden and hillside. It has a well equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with bath/shower. There is a small porch at the back suitable for storing walking/cycling equipment.
Directions
Getting there by aeroplane:- From: Glasgow Airport follow signs for Erskine Bridge cross toll bridge and follow the A82 to Arrochar then follow the A83 and continue on this road to Tarbert. The journey from Glasgow airport takesabout two and a half hours.
Getting there by ferry:- From Kennacraig: Take the A83 to Tarbert this is about five miles from Habour Street turn right into School road continue up past police station continue on keeping the school on your left, bear left all the way round the school by now a row of houses called Brucehill appears, Follow the road keeping Brucehill on your right. Petersville is at the end and has double silver gates. Above are directions by car.
