Widefirth Cottages are well equipped cosy cottages and with free wi-fi and a welcome pack provided on arrival, you have everything you will need for a relaxing stay in Orkney. There are two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. In addition, there is a large family bathroom with a spa bath. There is a large enclosed garden with a separate barbecue area and ample parking. A rich diversity of wildlife can be viewed from the comforts of the cottage, regular visitors include hen harriers, owls and hares and in the winter months the northern lights frequent our skies.
Widefirth Cottages are ideally situated for exploring Orkney and are only a 20-minute drive from the main archaeological sites of Skara Brae, Maes Howe, Standing Stones of Stenness, Ness of Brodgar.
On site there is an information point to plan your Orkney holiday and a large picnic area on the seafront with lovely coastal walks. We also have Shetland ponies, chickens and ducks on site for you to see.

Directions
If you are travelling from Stromness or Kirkwall, take the main road (A965) to Finstown. In Finstown, there is a T-Junction in the centre of the village, take this road (A966) out to Rendall and travel approximately 4 miles to the Norseman Village. Travel through this village and then take the first turn on your right hand side. Here, please follow the signs to Puldrite and then you pick up signs to Orkney Self Catering Cottages.
Travelling to Orkney is easy, you can either fly with Flybe from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness. Or you can take the Pentland ferries boat from Gills Bay, or the Northlink boat from either Scrabster or Aberdeen.
