Top floor self catering apartment with two double bedrooms, one shower room, large bright living room with dining area and a kitchen.
Access is through a main door then up one flight of stairs to the front door of 54C
Lovely views over to the Old Stirling High School (now a hotel) with its observatory and the city centre.
There is wi-fi throughout the apartment.
Situated next to the apartment building is a small public garden.
There are numerous pubs and restaurants just five minutes from the apartment
Street parking is free between 5.30pm and 8.30am, Monday to Saturday. Free all day on Sunday.
As with all city centre locations parking is limited and chargeable. If you don't plan on using your car during your stay, you could leave it at the Wellgreen 24 hour car park which is about a 15 minute walk from the apartment
HISTORY
The building was originally a hospital.
Constructed around 1650 using funds left to the city to alleviate poverty by Robert Spittal. He grew wealthy as a tailor to King James IV.
It was renovated into 4 apartments in the late 1950s and is now a B listed historic property.
It has numerous cellars with one having a tunnel entrance to Stirling Castle, though this is now blocked up.
