Offering the perfect contrast to busy lives, the cottage sits in a tranquil spot on the Huntington Estate surrounded by rich woodland where guests can while away the hours watching the wildlife from the garden or enjoy some wonderful walks and cycling right from the doorstep.
Presented in a country cottage style, the overall feel is warm and inviting using calming neutrals from Farrow & Ball along with pretty floral finishes and fresh ginghams. The sitting room features deep, sumptuous sofas along with Sky TV for relaxation, while the woodburning stove adds that cosy touch at the end of a busy day.
GROUND FLOOR
Sitting room with large comfortable sofa and armchairs, wood burning stove. Flat screen TV with full Sky package.
Kitchen with electric oven, 4 ring hob, washing machine (no dryer), dishwasher, fridge with freezer box, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine. Dining space with seating for four.
Bedroom one with 5’ king size bed, side tables, large fitted wardrobe with hanging space and shelving, chest of drawers.
Bedroom two with 3’ twin beds, side tables, in-built wardrobe with storage space.
Bathroom with bath with shower over, chrome heated towel rail, basin and WC.
OUTSIDE
The cottage sits in a large mature lawned garden - please note this is not fully enclosed. There is a small patio to the rear of the cottage with outside dining space and a barbecue.
There is a garden shed which guests can use to store bikes, golf clubs and other outdoor gear.
PARKING
There is private parking for two cars.
BABIES & CHILDREN
A travel cot and high chair are available on request. A fold out bed for a third child can be provided on request and there is plenty of room in the double bedroom to accommodate this.
DOGS
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome but they must be clean and dry before access into the property and must be kept to the kitchen and sitting room only. They are not permitted in the bedrooms.
GUEST AMENITIES
Feather duvets and pillows are provided. Bath sheets and hand towels are supplied along with guest toiletries. Hairdryers are supplied in both bedrooms.
WI-FI & MOBILE COVERAGE
Wi-Fi is available. Mobile reception is generally good in this area.
HEATING
Oil central heating throughout the property. Wood burning stove in the sitting room with logs supplied.
GUEST PRIVACY
The cottage is detached and sits in a large open garden which offers privacy and is not overlooked.
