Corner Cottage is a traditional Highland cottage in the heart of Nethy Bridge and is 2 minutes walk from the beautiful River Nethy. Situated in the Cairngorms National Park, this cosy cottage, which dates back to the early 19th century, is the ideal place for a holiday all year round. It has been sensitively renovated to provide historic charm alongside 21st century convenience. Ideally situated between Aviemore and Grantown on Spey our cottage provides a perfect base to explore Speyside and the Highlands.

Corner Cottage is an old Blacksmith's Cottage in the village of Nethy Bridge, Speyside, in the Scottish Highlands. It is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday far from the bustle of city life. The Cairngorm Mountains are close by, and Speyside offers a wide range of activities for everyone. Nethy Bridge has all the local facilities that are needed - a couple of Pubs/Hotels and a lovely cafe for eating out, a well stocked shop, a nine hole golf course, tennis courts, a park, and miles of gentle marked footpaths for relaxing walks. Speyside is ideal for walking, cycling (for softies or mountain bikers), golf, fishing, skiing, bird-watching (the Cottage is about three miles from the Boat of Garten Osprey Centre and a short walk into the Abernethy Forest) or all round family holidays.

Corner Cottage is set in a large, fully enclosed garden, making it ideal for both children and dogs. The patio area, accessed through French doors in the kitchen, is perfect for al fresco dining, barbecues and toasting marshmallows (or enjoying a dram!) at the fire pit.

Inside the cottage, the porch provides a perfect place to sit and rest post walk weary legs and remove coats and boots where they can be left to dry. The cosy lounge with its log burning stove and TV (please bring your own Netflix log in details) is a great place to read, play games or build Lego - all of which are provided for your stay.

The kitchen is very much the heart of the cottage. The beautiful, bespoke table, made from reclaimed wood is ideal for long, lazy breakfasts, games of monopoly and family dinners. The utility room provides extra fridge and freezer space, a washing machine and plenty storage space for wine!

Our newly refurbished shower room downstairs and traditional cast iron bath upstairs means everyone’s bathing needs are met.

Upstairs, the double and twin/triple bedrooms with coombed ceilings are both cosy and comfortable places to rest after a busy day exploring the Highlands.

The outdoor sheds are ideal for bike or ski storage, but also house games for the garden, the barbecue and an ample supply of logs for the stove and fire pit.
