In the middle of three of the main towns in the Scottish Borders is the small village of Lanton. Right on the edge of the village with some beautiful views in Borders Cottage. This fabulous home away from home is the perfect base for a family or small group of 5.
This 3-bedroom property has been finished to high standards with a sense of pride. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and include the main principal bedroom with a super kingsize bed and the luxury of a private en suite shower room. The second upstairs bedroom has a single bed with an additional pull-out bed to allow for any tag-alongs or small children.
Downstairs there is an open plan living/dining room with a multifuel stove and mounted Smart TV. A double size bedroom adds a sense of flexibility and there is a downstairs bathroom with an over bath shower. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, and an electric cooker not to mention the expected utensils and appliances needed these days.
There is a larger utility room which serves as an almost extension of the kitchen where there is a larger fridge freezer, washing machine and a coffee machine for those who need there morning cuppa. Located just outside Jedburgh yet surprisingly accessible and close to the popular towns of Kelso and Selkirk with train links at Tweedbank for those who may enjoy an adventure a little further afield. The area is steeped in history as the Title of The "Borders" would suggest. You’ll probably notice that the scenery on the way here is some of the most breath-taking in the country and the expanse of outdoor activities are endless.
