The Thoroughbred Tour
Our Thoroughbred Tour includes a visit to a racehorse trainer to watch horses on the gallops. It's then onto a racecourse for a behind the scenes visit then onto a a stud to see the mares and foals.
The Borders is steeped in equestrian history from Reivers to Common Ridings, eventing or racing. Lowlander has strong connections with the Borders racing industry and are delighted to offer the exclusive Thoroughbred Tour. No one else offers the chance to visit a stud where the mares, foals and young stock are nurtured. A visit to a racing yard with a renowned racehorse trainer is one of the tour highlights. Onto a racecourse - if it's a race day we will enjoy an afternoon's racing. Otherwise it's a behind the scenes tour of the racecourse to see places the camera's don't go.
