Letteewe & Fisherfields Guided Hike
Letterewe and the Fisherfields area is one of the most remote areas of Scotland which needs to be explored by foot, with some famous mountains close we have options to do some munro bagging or to ease ourselves in with some more gentle walking.
Day 1 Kinlochewe - Loch Maree
Starting at Kinlochewe, we wander down beside the river taking in the stunning views of Slioch and down Loch Maree, the longest fresh water in Scotland that hasn't had any human impact. The shores of where we will camp tonight.
Day 2 Loch Maree - Fionn Loch
Waking up beside Loch Maree, we get packed up and head along the trail to Lettewe, a small settlement of a few houses that you can only access by foot or boat. After lunch here taking in the views of Beinn Eighe, we head up the postman track to Fionn Loch where we will camp for the night.
Day 3 Fionn Loch - Shenavall
Today we have the opportunity to take on a few Munros if people feel up for it. To the East of the trail, we have A' Mhaighdean and Ruadh Stac Mor before heading down to the magnificent bothy of Shenavall, where we plan to camp close by with the imposing An Teallach close for the adventurous next day.
Day 4 Shenavall - Shenavall
Waking up under the impressive fortress of An Teallach, our objective for today. We head up the track and break NW to head for Sail Liath, here we wind our way along the ridge passing Lord Berkley's Seat to the summit of Sgurr Fiona and onto Bidein a' Ghlas Thuill before returning to our camp at Shenavall.
Day 5 Shenavall - Car park A832
