Isle of Mull Wildlife Photography Experience

Join wildlife photographer Paul McDougall on an unforgettable wildlife photography experience on the beautiful Isle of Mull.

On this tour we will search for otters, Red Deer, Short Eared Owls, Hen Harriers, Golden Eagle, White Tailed Eagles and all of the species that are found in abundance on the Isle of Mull.

Over the course of the week you will participate in the following activities:

• An otter workshop with a local otter specialist where you will learn about otters, fieldcraft and how you can minimise disturbance whilst photographing these incredible animals.
• A trip to the Treshnish Islands where you can experience "puffin therapy" on the top of the cliffs. You can sit with the puffins literally by your feet and capture some incredible images of this comical bird.
• A White Tailed Eagle Boat Trip. Where you can witness the UK's largest bird swooping down to catch fish metres away from the boat. You can capture some truly amazing images of these impressive birds.
• A Cetacean boat trip where we will search for Minke Whale, basking shark and dolphins along with numerous sea birds. This trip gives you an excellent opportunity of photographing the impressive variety of sea based inhabitants around Mull.

On non activity days listed above we will explore the island and visit many great wildlife locations both on foot and in the vehicle.

The tour is flexible and will only be a small group and can be privately booked depending on requirements.

You will have the opportunity to capture some great images of some rare and elusive wildlife guided throughout by Paul.

Paul has been visiting and guiding on Mull for years and knows the island well and where to look for specific species. His experience will help you achieve the images that you want.
