Oban, Isle of Skye and Loch Ness 4 day Tour
Take this 4 day tour to experience some of the best that Scotland has to offer! Including Oban, The Seafood Capital of The West Coast of Scotland, the breath-taking scenery of the Isle of Skye and the iconic Loch Ness.
£1600.00 for 4 day tour for up to 1 - 8 passengers, accommodation, meals and entrance fees not included.
DAY 1:
Collection from accommodation in Glasgow, drive 40 minutes to Loch Lomond, visiting the lovely conservation village of Luss. After spending time in Luss, you will travel through the Argyll Forest, stopping at ‘The Rest and Be Thankful’ for fabulous photo opportunity. Travelling onto Inveraray, on the banks of Loch Fyne for lunch at 17th Century George Hotel, afterwards walking around the town. Drive to Kilchurn Castle, a fantastic ruined castle nestling on Loch Awe. Then onwards to Oban, the Seafood Capital of The West Coast of Scotland, possible Whisky tour at Oban Distillery (£12.00 per person). Overnight stay in Oban.
DAY 2:
Collection from Oban, travelling along the coastal route, stopping off at Appin for photo opportunity at Stalker Castle. 30 minute drive to the breathtaking Glencoe, possible gentle walk to ‘The Hidden Glen’. Travelling to Fort William to visit Inverlochy Castle before passing through The Great Glen passing Loch Lochy and Loch Oich, stopping off at Invergarry Hotel for lunch before travelling over the sea to Isle of Skye, overnight stay on Skye.
DAY 3:
Collection from accommodation, visit The Faerie Glen, Quaraing, Kilt Rock, travel to Eilean Donan Castle on the mainland, lunch opportunity. Onwards to The Falls of Invermorsiston (beautiful natural waterfall) then onwards to Loch Ness, stop off at Urquhart Castle for photo opportunity, where most sightings of Loch Ness monster have taken place. Possible boat trip - £15.00 per person. Overnight stay at Inverness.
DAY 4:
Collection from accommodation, first visit is Culloden Battlefield where you will hear of Bonnie Prince Charlie and his Jacobite uprising in 1746. Next stop is Clava Cairns, a Bronze aged burial tomb and standing stones. Drive through The Cairngorms National Park, stopping off at The Falls of Bruar, short walk to the waterfall then lunch. Drive back to Glasgow via Stirling.
Bottled water, light snacks and sip of whisky included in price quoted.
