Ben Nevis Winter Skills Course
This two-day course will look at providing you with the skills to walk in Scotlands mountain during the winter months and give you the chance to summit Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain.
Climb Ben Nevis in winter with this two days winter skills course.
One of these days will be a winter skills day looking at avalanche avoidance, crampon use, ice axe arrest, what to pack for a winter day and planning your winter day out. You will have the chance to learn and practice these skills so as to prepare you for your own adventures in the future.
The other day will be a chance to summit Ben Nevis in winter conditions and out into practice some of the skills learnt on the winter skills day. Ideally this will be the second day of your course but we may have to be flexible with the weather.
These courses are run on a bespoke nature and needs a minimum number of two participants.

All of who can guide you safely in the Scottish mountains on Classics like the Ben Nevis Mountain path, Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis, the Aonach Eagach and Curved Ridge in Glencoe, the Skye Cuillin Munros or a Skye Cuillin Ridge traverse. We provide instruction and guiding in the winter season too, with Scottish Winter climbing courses, Winter mountaineering courses, winter skills courses and Winter private guiding.
