Ardkinglas Estate situated on the shores of Loch Fyne in Argyll.
Against a spectacular background of mountain and forest, Ardkinglas Estate covers about 4800 hectares. Set amidst stunning scenery Ardkinglas has been used as a photographic location and also the setting for TV dramas and films whilst continuing the traditional highland estate activities of farming and stalking. Come and experience the unique atmosphere of this family run highland estate. Only one hour from Glasgow. Ardkinglas House is an architectural gem the masterpiece of Robert Lorimer.
It provides a very special setting for weddings, photo shoots, filming and other events. There is a self catering accommodation on site.
Although not open to the public on a regular basic, we do offer house tours on most Fridays from April - October. Booking is essential. We can arrange private tours all year round.
Take the opportunity to have a look round this beautiful and largely unaltered 100 year old mansion house.
Nearby are the Ardkinglas Woodland Gardens, The Tree Shop our retail arm selling unusual native trees and crafts and the world famous Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.
