The Hightae Inn is situated in the charming village of Hightae close to the River Annan.

Our cosy, stylish Restaurant with rooms offering great home cooked evening meals along with good beers, fine wines and some wonderful whiskies.

Hightae is only 10 minutes from the A74(M) at Lockerbie and a bit of a hidden gem. The surrounding countryside offers and abundance of footpaths including the newly opened Annandale Way, river walks and country lanes and is great for cycling.

The hotel is proving a great hit for overnight stop-overs if you are heading either north or south to break up your journey.

An extensive renovation has recently been completed (February 2017) to bring things to the high standard you'll see today.

All our food is home-cooked to order using local produce where possible and our evening supper menu board is regularly updated to ensure a great variety of fresh tasty dishes.

Sit down in front of the wood burning stove after a days activities and enjoy a well earned refreshment.

Mobile phone reception is fairly limited (a bit of a result if you fancy some peace and quiet) however we have free Wi-Fi if you need to catch up on emails or have any googling requirements.
