Ashaig B&B welcomes you to our peaceful retreat on the Isle of Skye, where you can renew your connection to nature and sea. Distinguished by lush gardens, two newly remodelled ensuite rooms overlook Loch Greshornish and out to sea.

Picture yourself looking out your window at a shimmering sea loch. Gaze at felt-like green and heather covered hills dotted with grazing sheep. Watch the fishing boats head out on calm waters for the day’s catch. Hear the calls of gulls and native birds waking to a new day. Once reaching a Skye state of mind, head over to the dining room to get your day started right. Set out on your island adventures recharged and refuelled after a homemade breakfast prepared fresh to order using local seasonal ingredients.

As Ashaig’s new owners, we have completely refreshed and refurbished this purpose-built B&B into a coastal idyll for our guests. Distinguished by its lush, cascading gardens and picture perfect views of the loch, Ashaig B&B is perched on a hill overlooking the western shore of Loch Greshornish. Set in a rural hamlet, Ashaig is surrounded by natural croft fields and is directly accessed off a single track road.

Ashaig offers two private, west-facing ensuite guest rooms. One room has a king bed, and the other, two single beds. Bathed in natural light, colours for each room have been consciously chosen to evoke sea and sky. Striving for a unique aesthetic, décor for each room has been thoughtfully curated with coastal-inspired accents and a fusion of modern and vintage furnishings. The entire property has ground floor accommodation and a ramp for step-free access.

We are an eco-friendly B&B. where we strive to reuse, recycle and repurpose to reduce waste and use resources economically and wisely.

Ashaig is conveniently located in Kildonan, a scenic 12 mile drive from Portree. We are an ideal base for guests to set out on rugged explorations of Skye’s natural beauty and wildlife, take spirit-rejuvenating drives around the island, or simply enjoy more artistic pursuits of photography, painting and sketching at one of the many world famous locations on offer nearby.
