Royal Musselburgh was founded in 1774 and was originally played over the famous nine-hole links course at Levenhall, Musselburgh. In 1926 the move was made to Prestongrange House, Prestonpans.

This is a relatively flat parkland course and despite there being no blind holes it is well protected by no less than 68 bunkers.

Lanark is one of the oldest clubs in the world and celebrated 150 years in 2001. Renowned for the natural moorland fairways, fast greens and beautiful scenery, it is a genuine contender to be one of Scottish golf's real hidden gems.

Port Glasgow is a splendid little golfing secret situated some 22 miles west of Glasgow. A varied moorland course, "The Port" provides spectacular and enchanting views of the Firth of Clyde and the rolling farm lands and which surrounds it.

Greenock Whinhill is a moorland course set above the town with panoramic views over the River Clyde. There are also great views of the local countryside from the majority of the holes, which provides a stirring backdrop to your round.

The Rannaleroch Course is set in rolling parkland with fantastic views over the beautiful valley of Strathmore. It is a challenge to low handicappers, yet forgiving for beginners.
