Beirhope Alpacas lies in the heart of the Cheviot Hills, in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Once a farm, now home to a growing herd of alpacas (READ OUR FULL STORY HERE).

Within a 75 minute drive from both the Edinburgh City By Pass and Newcastle Upon Tyne, Beirhope offers the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of life and relax with our friendly alpacas. What could be better!

We offer various alpaca activities from visits to treks. Our male alpacas are all experienced with meeting people and walking and will take you on the most spectacular journey through the Cheviot Hills. Along the way, there is an abundance of wildlife to be seen, and some fantastic photo opportunities both of the landscape and of course your alpaca. Alpaca selfies make for great fun! Our female alpacas and their babies will happily let you feed them treats, which we will supply for you.

We run seasonal visits, such as Christmas, Easter and summertime specials; attend weddings with the alpacas as the main attraction and can offer bespoke packages for groups. Beirhope is a place for all to feel welcome, to relax and to have some fun.
